We are a small-medium manufacturer, with staff of 14, catering to a niche market, principally in the flooring industry. We have a manufacturing capacity of approximately 9500 tiles of our Batavian 300×300 floor tiles per month. Established in 1975, we have a proven reputation for quality and reliable personal service. This websites pictures, although by no means exhaustive, will give you some idea of the quality and beauty of the floors we are proud to produce.

With our Batavian tiles we supply a guide to laying, treating and maintaining the floor. The methods we recommend require a minimum of effort to produce a beautiful result. Due to the size and colour variation we calculate coverage per m2 to be 10 tiles for our standard 300 x 300mm tile. Due to this size variation our tiles are sold per each and not per m2. Size variation can be expected of approximately 8%.

These are traditional, small handmade Dutch bricks, used mainly for edging on steps, fireplaces, verandas, etc. The standard size is +- 160 x 75 x 35 mm but these dimensions can be altered to suit the application. We make ‘special order’ sizes on request.

Harvest brown is a uniquely white clay product allowing for wonderful beige colours, with hints of sunburst edges, bringing the floor to life. These tiles join the travertine, light sandstone and light ceramic range of tiles allowing you to decorate with more modern finishes.With this new clay tile, each floor is unique.

These tiles are designed for a more modern setting. They are squarer, neater, flatter and therefore less rustic then the standard Batavian tile, without losing the advantages of a genuine handmade clay Terracotta floor. They are also slightly bigger than the Batavian tile.

Batavian Harvest Brown White Clay
Our clay tile range, which we call Batavian, comes in a range of sizes. Standard size is plus minus 300 x 300 mm and 22/25mm thick. We also manufature 210 x 210 x 18 mm and 150 x 150 x +-18mm. We can also produce larger tiles to order. Due to the nature of clay and the way our kilns are fired, there will be small variations in both size and colour shades of our tiles. This variation is one of the main factors contributing to the natural beauty of a handmade tile and is much sought after.
